The Council will provide valuable insight from a channel partner perspective to help shape the future strategies and initiatives of Zebra Technologies. BarCode ID Systems will sit on the board for a minimum of two years.

BarCode ID Systems has also been selected as a member of the newly launched Symbol PartnerSelect Advisory Council. The Council's introductory meeting was held in Las Vegas on March 5, 2003, following the Symbol Global Partner Conference.

The Symbol PartnerSelect Advisory Council is an organization comprised of 15 key channel partner executives who have been asked to provide representation for their channel segment. Council participants will provide Symbol with ongoing input and advice to maintain a competitive advantage for both Symbol and its partner community.

Council members are chosen based on geography, qualifications and recommendations by Symbol Channel executives, directors and managers. As active leaders in the industry, Council members will provide Symbol with objective counsel on working more effectively with partners, along with customer, industry and geographic trends, and channel opportunities.

BarCode ID Systems has been recertified for 2003 as a Full-Service Authorized Service Provider for all Zebra printers.
